In 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Parts Exposition (AAPEX), it was reported that in next spring, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) will be renamed as the Auto Care Association, or ACA.
After one year, reports get confirmed when AAIA ends their extensive rebranding initiative and made an announcement of rebranding itself as the Auto Care Association (ACA) on April 24, 2014.
